My next cup of tea was making interactive
powerpoint though it was not new to me I had rarely used it in my class. Above
all what surprised me the most was top 5 alternatives to power point ( http://www.readwriteweb.com/biz/2010/11/hate-powerpoint-here-are-5-web-based-alternatives.php)
that I had never imagined. May be these tools are more applicable at the places
where Microsoft Powerpoint is not available.
Frankly speaking, what influenced me the
most was Interactive Lectures Summaries of 36 Formats (http://www.thiagi.com/interactive-lectures.html).
This is very resourceful as it has very useful and easy activities that will
help to manage large classes.
I very much admire your enthusiasm and motivation. I like you still trying to use PowerPoint more snd more. I hope we all get the best out of this program for the sake of our students.
You are simply lovable. I just love your candor, enthusiasm and spontaneity. Your blog looks great and substantial. Thank you for sharing the links. You are right, powerpoint is really powerful. It can create magic in the class and make our students spellbound.
You have been equally adventuring into the world of power point instruction as I have been. I can see you have visited several sites, I am sure that you have deeper understanding of the Microsoft tool than I do. I thank you for the links.

ReplyDeleteHello Sindhu!
ReplyDeleteI liked the PP alternatives too!
Sometimes it's difficult to pay for a large amount of licenses even though there are student licenses available!
